The Governor of Nineveh, accompanied by the Operations Commander, Major General, conducted an inspection visit to the control of the martyr Sabhan to see its mechanism of operation .
He met with Governor Abdul Qader Al-Dakhil During his visit to truck owners, he listened to their suffering in crossing the checkpoints inside the governorate .
He stressed that the Constitution guarantees every Iraqi the right to demonstrate peacefully, provided that it does not affect public property, pointing out that the doors of the governorate office are open to everyone and representatives of truck owners must come to the governorate office building to listen to them regarding the existence of cases of blackmail for them to cross the controls to take the necessary measures against the extortionists. .
Regarding the latest measures taken regarding the entry of trucks, Al-Dakhil confirmed that new instructions and decisions were issued by the Prime Minister to regulate the movement of trucks and controls , indicating that the local government does not categorically approve of any extortion process and we will follow up on the matter and verify the information received to hold those who are negligent accountable.
The governor had visited the Free Zone Directorate and discussed the new decisions for the entry of trucks and directed the provision of logistical support to facilitate the smooth flow of their entry into the governorate . Orders were issued to open the Mosul-Dahuk control to trucks for 24 hours, add 4 sonar devices, and prepare yards to facilitate the movement of goods transportation.
