The Governor of Nineveh confirmed that the governorate has always been distinguished and ranked first in Iraq in terms of agriculture and wheat yield .
Governor Abdul Qadir Al-Dakhil congratulated the people of Al-Jarn village for their use of modern techniques in agriculture and for the production quantities to reach two tons per dunum .
This came during Al-Dakhil’s attendance at the ceremony to launch the harvest of the wheat crop within the Hammam Al-Alil Agriculture Division sector – in the village of Al-Jarn .
The Governor of Nineveh directed all security units to deploy in various sectors of the agricultural areas to monitor the harvesting process and not to be tampered with by some malicious parties, stressing that the current agricultural season bodes very well, revealing the formation of a cell in order to remedy all the problems facing farmers and peasants, indicating the opening of four reserve outlets.
