Nineveh Census Director Nofal Suleiman Talab said that the population census in Nineveh Governorate has begun experimentally in many areas of the governorate.
Talab added that the first steps for the census include numbering buildings and filling out special registry forms (enumeration registry), then completing household data in the regions, through the use of smart applications.
He stated that the census teams are working to complete the numbering of buildings, their type, type of use and ownership, indicating that the census will include all types of buildings, and that the census will also include nomads and displacement camps, according to the plan drawn up by the Department of Statistics.
