Al-Dakhil spoke during his visit to the Mosul Olympic Stadium project, with a capacity of 30,000 spectators , and he held an extensive meeting with the implementing company to review the stages of work progress and the progress rates of the project.
The Governor of Nineveh revealed that he had taken a pledge from the implementing company to complete the sports city before the end of this year , indicating that this project will be an integrated sports city consisting of training fields, a hotel, a swimming pool, and sports halls .
He stated that the sports city will have a positive impact on revitalizing the sports and economic movement in the governorate, a destination for athletes, and bringing local clubs to play in the city of Mosul.
