On Wednesday, Nineveh police reported the arrest of a woman who killed her husband through her lover .
The police said in a statement today that the Tel Kayf Police Department was able to uncover the murder of a citizen and arrest the perpetrators within less than six hours after the crime occurred .
The statement explained, “After conducting an examination and planning of the scene of the accident and collecting evidence, it became clear that the accused committed the crime in cooperation with the victim’s wife after discovering the existence of a relationship and marital infidelity between the victim’s wife and the accused .”
According to the statement, the defendants’ confessional statements were recorded and judicially authenticated, and they were referred to the competent judiciary to decide their fate.
