Nineveh Governor Abdul Qader Al-Dakhil discussed with the Minister of Health, Saleh Al-Hasnawi, the problems facing work in health sector projects in the governorate.
A statement from Al-Dakhil’s office said that the latter held a meeting in Baghdad with the Minister of Health, in the presence of the Chairman of the Parliamentary Health Committee, Majid Shankali, and MP Muzahim Al-Khayyat, to discuss the problems of health projects in Nineveh.
The meeting discussed the approval of the plans for the demolition project, the design and implementation of the 600-bed Ibn Sina Hospital, the problems facing the Al-Hussein Hospital project in Tal Afar and the need to overcome obstacles, and the approval of the medical equipment for the 200-bed maternity hospital in Mosul. The delay in the hospital project was also discussed. The German hospital has a capacity of 400 beds, as the Minister instructed the Projects Department to complete the work in this vital and important joint.
