Yesterday , Tuesday, the Federal Integrity Commission announced that it had monitored tampering with the school renovation file in Nineveh and arrested an accused who threatened a government employee .
A statement by the authority, received by Mosul Time Radio, stated , “A working team composed of the Nineveh Investigation Office moved to the University of Mosul, and was able to arrest an accused who runs a construction chemicals company, for threatening an engineer in the projects unit at the College of Pharmacy – University of Mosul, and forcing her to take the contract.” Which is in its custody, after he claimed that he was supported by regulatory authorities in the state,” pointing out that “the process of arresting the accused was carried out based on a judicial warrant in accordance with the provisions of Article (340) of the Penal Code .”
In a separate context, the statement explained that “a team moved to the Nineveh Education Directorate/Financial Affairs Department, and detected tampering with the receipts and offers for the renovation file of (10) schools in the directorate,” noting that “the offers were submitted by offices and stores in the governorate . ”
The statement pointed out that “ 3 files were seized for the restoration of schools. The first file included the restoration of (3) schools for the amount of (231,434,000) two hundred and thirty-one million dinars, and the second included (3) schools also for the amount of (220,824,000) two hundred and twenty million dinars. The third included the restoration of (220,824,000) two hundred and twenty million dinars. 4) Schools in the amount of (176,499,000) one hundred and seventy-six million dinars .” The statement continued, “Fundamental seizure records were prepared for the seizures in the operations that were carried out according to judicial warrants, and criminal cases were opened in them in accordance with the provisions of Article (331) of the Penal Code, and they were presented before the judge of the investigative court competent to look into integrity issues in Nineveh Governorate, to take legal measures.”
