The Do Charity Association in Mosul announced that it has completed the reconstruction of Al-Eidan Mosque on the right side of Mosul.

The association’s director, Dr. Saadallah Tawfiq Suleiman, said that Al-Eidan Mosque is located on the right side of Mosul, near the house of Sayed Touhi, on the opposite side of the local administration stadium.

Suleiman stated that the mosque is more than 60 years old, and that it was completely destroyed during the Mosul war to liberate the city from ISIS.

The director of the Do Charity Association confirmed that the mosque can accommodate approximately 300 worshipers and that it will be officially opened in the near future, after philanthropists and donors have sponsored its reconstruction.

The Do Charity Association was credited with the reconstruction of many historical mosques in Mosul, as it undertook the reconstruction of the Prophet Girgis Mosque, the Pasha Mosque, and many other mosques, and the association is now working on the reconstruction of the Prophet Yunus Mosque, which was blown up by ISIS fighters during their occupation of Mosul.
