Nineveh Governor Abdul revealed Al-Qader Al-Dakhil said during his press conference after his return from Washington, DC, that there are many projects in the governorate that are included in the 2023 budget amounts .
Al-Dakhil added during the press conference attended by Mosul Time Radio that the Mosul Singer Airport project is on schedule, indicating that all navigational devices have been contracted and that part of them has been manufactured and the other is under manufacturing.
He revealed that there are workers being trained on navigational devices in France, Finland and other countries, explaining that the airport runway has been completely completed and that the airport project buildings are proceeding at an accelerated pace .
Regarding the basic design project , Al-Dakhil confirmed that the contract had been signed and that the committee had begun field survey work .
As for the projects in Nineveh Governorate, Al-Dakhil confirmed that the total amount for the 2023 plan is 678 billion, of which 323 billion are for ongoing projects, 355 billion for new projects , and 155 billion. One billion for public benefit projects , as well as more than 21 billion dinars for the project to rebuild drug stores for the Pharmacy and Medical Supplies Department , and 12 One billion dinars for the project to implement the second phase of the Sennacherib Bridge intersection , and 7 billion for the construction and paving of the circular street from the flour mills to the main Erbil Street , in addition to what Approximately 7 billion to address the decline in the levels of the Tigris River , more than 8 billion to equip medical equipment for the 100-bed emergency hospital , 7 billion for the project of demolishing and rebuilding a specialized dental center in the medical complex in Ayman Mosul, and 4 billion to equip medical equipment for Al-Batoul Hospital .
Al-Dakhil explained the most important projects that are in the process of contractual procedures :
- Riverfront project in the old city (Invitation pending)
- Nineveh Central Stadium construction project (Direct expression of interest)
- Establishment of a 50-bed hospital in Al-Khader and the North (contractual procedures developed)
- Establishment of a 100-bed hospital in Bashiqa district (under implementation)
