Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani stressed the importance of strengthening efforts to introduce Iraqi culture and its Arab-Islamic depth .
Al-Sudani’s media office stated in a statement that Al-Sudani received Asaad Turki Sawari, Iraq’s permanent representative to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization ( UNESCO ) , and listened to a comprehensive presentation of the activities undertaken by the international organization in its field of competence with Iraq, and the cultural, educational and pedagogical programs that are implemented in partnership with it. .
He pointed out the importance of strengthening efforts to introduce Iraqi culture and its Arab-Islamic depth and cooperation in two projects (reviving the old cities of Mosul, in addition to the old city of Basra as well), stressing the importance of protecting the Iraqi heritage of the two cities, rehabilitating the heritage sites in them, and introducing the rich creative output of Iraqi creators .

Nineveh Education calls on teachers who “want” to change their specializations to teach the Kurdish language
The General Directorate of Education in Nineveh Governorate called The administrations of secondary, middle and vocational schools for the morning and evening classes and fine arts institutes in the province have requested to register the names of professors wishing to teach the Kurdish language in the province in all specialties .
It was stated in a document signed by the Director General of the Agency, Khaled Abdul Aziz Musalat, that , with reference to the letter of the Ministry of Education – General Directorate of Kurdish Studies, No. (2441) dated 4/22/2024, which includes no objection to changing the specialization from the specialization of social studies and other specializations to the specialization Kurdish language . He pointed out that those wishing to change their specialization to the Kurdish language should review the office of the General Directorate of Nineveh Education – Department of Kurdish Studies, for the purpose of listing the names so that they can be tested and indicate the extent of their ability to teach the subject
