The Mosul Municipality began imposing financial fines on shop owners in the Al-Jazair neighborhood on the left side of Mosul.
The municipality’s media center reported that these fines were due to shop owners not adhering to municipal instructions and collecting waste and placing it in designated places.
The municipality warned shop owners throughout the city against the phenomenon of random waste dumping, threatening to impose financial fines on violators.
