Nineveh Governor Abdul Qadir al-Dakhil revealed that the reconstruction of the administrative building of the Nineveh Traffic Directorate is proceeding at an accelerated pace.
Al-Dakhil added during an inspection visit to the project site in the Al-Faisaliah area on the left side of Mosul that the local government greatly supports the traffic sector as it is in direct contact with citizens.
He explained that the traffic complex in Al-Faisaliah is progressing at an increasing pace and will be completed in the 9th or 10th month of the current year, indicating that the administrative departments will be transferred to the Al-Faisaliah complex after its completion.
Al-Dakhil also confirmed that the local government is closely following the project to establish the technical traffic complex in the Waterfalls area in order to complete it.
The administrative building of the Nineveh Traffic Directorate was subjected to comprehensive destruction during ISIS’s control of Mosul between 2014 and 2017.
