Yesterday , Monday, the Minister of Immigration and Displacement, E.V.N. Faiq Jabru, announced the return of 397 displaced people living outside the Dohuk camps to their original areas in Sinjar .
She said Jabro said in a statement that “397 displaced people living outside the camps in the ( Khanki ) district and its affiliated villages in Dohuk Governorate have returned to their original areas of residence in Sinjar District in Nineveh Governorate .”
She added , “This was done in coordination with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the Nineveh Operations Command,” explaining that “logistical support was provided to them .”
She stated , “This comes within the ministry’s plan to end the displacement file in the country and in line with the government program .”
