Yesterday, Sunday, Minister of Health Saleh Al-Hasnawi announced the establishment of hospitals with a capacity of 100 beds in 16 governorates, while revealing the inclusion of 80 health centers in all governorates.
Al-Hasnawi said, “The Ministry has a number of projects in various governorates, and it is part of the government program that emphasized health justice by distributing health services as equally as possible among all governorates,” pointing out that “one of these projects is the establishment of hospitals with a capacity of 138 beds.” In 16 governorates, and for each governorate there is a hospital.”
He added, “The Ministry also has hospital projects under construction and work is underway on them, and is also waiting this year to complete the inclusion of 80 health centers in various governorates for the purpose of expanding the base of primary health care centers,” indicating that “The Ministry also has projects for specialized centers and a number of oncology centers and cardiac centers.” In the governorates, in addition to other services.
Al-Hasnawi pointed out that “the Ministry is moving towards expanding the health base, which also includes providing equipment, supplies and medicines.”
