The engineering team responsible for the Al-Salam Hospital reconstruction project revealed that the actual completion rate of the Al-Salam Teaching Hospital reconstruction project, which has 400 beds, reached 60%.
The project’s chief engineer, Saleh Khader Ahmed, explained that the reconstruction operations include the damaged parts of the hospital, the operating and delivery rooms, and the lying rooms, indicating that the actual completion rate reached 60%, while the planned rate was only 48%.
He explained that the vertical building of the hospital has been completed 100% from a structural standpoint, and the rest of the mechanical and other works are now being completed, indicating that work is now underway to prepare the hospital’s systems.
He pointed out that it is hoped that work on the project will be completed during the first half of next year.
