The Municipality of Mosul announced its intention to launch a comprehensive administrative automation project, which aims to transform the administrative processes in the directorate into an integrated digital system.
It enhances the accuracy and honesty of administrative processes and facilitates access to information, especially as it is considered a turning point in the fight against corruption. The new digital system will follow up on correspondence from entering the transaction number and documenting it in a database, to archiving it and referring it to the concerned authorities.
The system includes multiple support features such as reporting, surveys, and quick search. The Municipality of Mosul also began preparing the requirements for electronic collection in the Al-Ghazlani municipal sector, after which the rest of the sectors would be included in succession. The Municipality of Mosul also began training its main crews on the programs and systems used in preparation for starting to implement administrative automation.
The project is in line with the government program and simplifies the practical procedures provided to citizens in accordance with the reform directions of the Prime Minister, Engineer Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, as it aims to facilitate the completion of citizens’ transactions and administrative procedures in the Mosul Municipality using automation.
This project is an important step towards improving services and unifying administrative processes, which enhances transparency and eliminates corruption.
