The Nineveh Governorate Roads and Bridges Directorate revealed that the project to construct the concrete ship bridge Near the village of Al-Safina – Al-Mukhallat, the work is progressing according to the progress schedule.
The directorate explained that the length of the bridge is 360 meters, as the project is one of the projects of the Reconstruction Fund for areas affected by terrorist operations within the Food Security and Emergency Support Programme . With a working period of 365 days .
Regarding the details of the new bridge, Nineveh roads and bridges indicated that it connects the Shura district and the villages affiliated with it on the right side and the villages affiliated with the district. Qayyarah , Makhmour district , and Al-Kuwayr district from the left side of the Tigris River.
As for the implementation rate of the project, the Directorate confirmed that it has reached 25 % , indicating that the excavation , reinforcement , and pouring of piles in the third axis are proceeding according to plan, with the announcement of the completion of piles and pile caps for seven axes .
