MP in the Iraqi Parliament for Nineveh Shirwan Governorate Al-Dobardani asked the Integrity Commission to investigate citizens’ complaints about tampering with the wheat crop in the silos .
Al-Dobardani said in a statement, “ We received information in the wheat file about tampering with its quantities, with imported non-Iraqi wheat being brought in and being delivered to the silos as local, with tampering with cars being brought into the silos without registering in the queue .”
The representative demanded that this information be investigated through surprise field visits to silos and checking the records of cars and laboratories, to prevent tampering and interference in the wheat delivery process .
