The Directorate of Roads and Bridges in Nineveh Governorate announced the start of preparing statements for the rehabilitation of the Mosul-Erbil road.
Director of Roads and Bridges, Radwan Al-Shahwani, said that directives were issued by Nineveh Governorate to begin preparing statements for rehabilitating the road extending from Al-Kalk Bridge to Al-Khazir Bridge on the Mosul-Erbil road.
The announcement of the project came during the Governor of Nineveh, Abdul Qadir Al-Dakhil, inspecting the road, accompanied by the Director of Roads and Bridges, the Mosul-Erbil Road in the Al-Kalk area, where orders were issued to work on rehabilitating the road with a continuous 24-hour work system to ensure the speedy completion of this vital road.
Citizens complain about the bad road and the large number of bumps, potholes and breaks, as pedestrians on the road suffer from many accidents due to the bad road, especially since it has caused many accidents over the past months.
