A security source in Nineveh Governorate said yesterday, Friday, that a security force from Baghdad arrested the son of an Iraqi parliament member in the city of Mosul on charges of tampering with the file of state lands.
The source, who preferred to remain anonymous, reported that “a security force that came from Baghdad arrested the son of a deputy (woman) for Nineveh Governorate from his office on the left side of the city of Mosul.”
The source explained that “the representative’s son had a judicial arrest warrant issued against him in accordance with the provisions of Resolution 160 of 1983 on charges of seizing lands belonging to the Ministry of Education.”
