A security source reported, on Thursday, that a Turkish drone targeted a vehicle carrying members loyal to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, west of Sinjar district. The source said that a Turkish drone targeted a Nissan double cab pickup truck that was moving from Sinjar district towards Bab Shalo Road (Mount Sinjar), adding that the vehicle was bombed west of the village of Al-Wardiya. He stated that inside the vehicle were (3) people affiliated with the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) – Sinjar Protection Unit (Al-Yabsha). The source indicated that one of these three was killed immediately and the other two were injured as a result of the bombing, stressing that they were evacuated by a detachment affiliated with the Sinjar Protection Unit.
