The Maintenance Division in the Mosul Municipality Directorate began constructing an iron fence near the pedestrian crossing bridge on the main street of the Al-Hadba neighborhood opposite the University of Mosul.
This step comes to limit the transit movement of citizens and force them to use the pedestrian bridges distributed in the main streets of the city in order to preserve their safety.
It is worth noting that the Mosul Municipality had previously begun erecting iron fences on the main streets near the pedestrian crossing bridges, which aims to reduce traffic accidents to which pedestrians are exposed due to their not using those regular bridges built on the main streets.
