The Governor of Nineveh opened Mosul Square To receive annual yield crops (wheat and barley) from peasants and farmers .

And he said Governor Abdul Qadir Al-Dakhil said that this square in Al-Ma’ash Market in Yemen Mosul will receive wheat and barley crops from the southern region and the southern outskirts of the city.

He explained that the capacity of this yard is 125 thousand tons, and it is hoped that its capacity will be increased to 200 thousand tons, noting the mobilization of the governorate’s efforts in all its concerned departments to ensure the success of the harvest and marketing season for the year 2024 and prevent the occurrence of fires on farms.

Al-Dakhil had chaired an expanded meeting that included the Operations Commander, Major General Taha Al-Lahibi, a number of members of the provincial council, and the directors of civil defence, agriculture, grain processing, the municipality, municipalities, water and sewage, to discuss the process of receiving and marketing the wheat crop, following up on the issue of the fires that occurred recently, and preventing their recurrence .

He revealed that the governorate was divided into 11 marketing outlets, taking into account many criteria , including the proximity of the outlet to farms, stressing the provision of great facilities for receiving crops from farmers and the speed of disbursing their dues.
