The Security Media Cell announced yesterday , Friday, the arrest of 9 members of ISIS terrorist gangs in 4 governorates .
The cell said in a statement: “Based on accurate intelligence information from the intelligence divisions of the commands of the divisions (7, 14, 15, 16 and 17), the Military Intelligence Directorate, in cooperation with the security forces holding the ground, carried out several preemptive operations .”
The statement added, “The operations resulted in the arrest of… 9 terrorists wanted by the Iraqi judiciary, according to the provisions of Article (4/ Terrorism) in different areas of the governorates (Baghdad, Nineveh, Anbar and Kirkuk ) who were working and belonging to ISIS terrorist gangs, including the so-called main and administrative carrier of ISIS terrorists in Anbar province, as they were handed over to the requesting parties in the field and in principle.
