The company implementing the Ashur Hotel reconstruction project on the right side of Mosul announced that the work has reached the final stages .
The engineer in the company implementing the project, Laith Mohammed, said, “The percentage of completion in the reconstruction of the Mosul Hotel has reached more than 90%.”
Mohammed added, “Work is currently underway to furnish the hotel’s rooms and halls in preparation for its opening in the coming period.”
He explained that “the hotel will meet international hotel specifications,” indicating that “its opening will have an impact on enhancing the tourism reality in the city of Mosul.”
Ashur Hotel is one of the three major hotels in Mosul, along with the Mosul and Nineveh Oberoi International Hotels. All three hotels were destroyed during military operations in 2017 .
