A patent was announced in the city of Mosul for a young man from Mosul who discovered an early diagnosis of breast cancer using artificial intelligence .

Informed sources told Mosul Time Radio, “A new scientific achievement has been recorded by the young Iraqi Baraa Al-Qazzaz from Mosul in the field of artificial intelligence, as he was able to achieve remarkable success in an international competition held in Turkey .”

Baraa, 17 years old, who started his interest in technology at an early age, developed a great passion for artificial intelligence since the age of nine when he loved digital games, then decided to turn this passion into a scientific project aimed at solving real problems .

Speaking about his beginnings, Baraa Al-Qazzaz told Mosul Time Radio: “My beginnings were with digital games at the age of nine, and those games were my window into the world of artificial intelligence. Over time, I felt the need to develop my talent and use it in something useful, and from here came the idea of focusing on early diagnosis of breast cancer using artificial intelligence.” Al-Qazzaz added that his participation in the international competition in Turkey was a “distinctive experience,” as his research in the field of using artificial intelligence for medical diagnosis received great attention from the judging committees and other participants.
