Nineveh Provincial Council member Mohammed Haris revealed the provincial council’s move to end the problem of the vacancy of the position of Chairman of the Nineveh Investment Commission .
Haris said that the council is working to select the head of the Investment Authority due to the halt in investments in Nineveh as a result of the position being vacant for months.
He stressed the urgent need for the governorate to invest, especially in light of the security and political stability.
