Nineveh Provincial Council member Mohammed Ahris revealed that the Mosul mayor will be retired next month, which means that the position will remain vacant if a replacement is not chosen .
Ahris called on the political forces to reach an agreement in order to choose the mayor of Mosul before referring the current mayor to retirement, while he pointed out that the political blocs in the Nineveh Council bear responsibility for not choosing the directors and officials and for some positions remaining vacant .
