Nineveh Governor Abdul Qader Al-Dakhil announced an agreement with the French Embassy in Iraq to develop a roadmap for the presence of French companies in Nineveh Governorate.

This came during Al-Dakhil’s reception of the French Ambassador to Iraq, Patrick Durel, and the French Consul General in Mosul, Jean-Christophe Auger.

The governor pointed out that there are many French projects implemented in the governorate, the most important of which is a 27-bed hospital with equipment in Sinjar district, and the contribution to the reconstruction of Mosul University.

For his part, the French Ambassador to Iraq stressed Paris’ keenness to be present in Nineveh Governorate through projects. The French Ambassador said that France participated in many areas in supporting Nineveh in the reconstruction phase that followed the war, noting that Paris looks forward to the broad participation of French companies in the next phase in the governorate.
