An Iraqi intelligence statement seen by Mosul Time Radio stated: The device was able to free the Yazidi girl (Kovan Edo Kharto), who was kidnapped by ISIS terrorist gangs after they took control of Sinjar district in 2014. The statement added; The operation “was carried out based on accurate intelligence information about her whereabouts in Syrian territory, in order to reach her, return her to Iraq, and hand her over to her family.”
