The local government in Nineveh announced the approval of the governorate’s project plan for the year 2023 after the meeting of Nineveh Governor Abdul Qadir al-Dakhil with the Fund for the Reconstruction of Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations. Al-Dakhil said in a statement to the media that the meeting “discussed several topics, most notably the follow-up of lagging projects and the emphasis on the necessity of launching the governorates’ plans for projects.” Al-Dakhil pointed out that “the governorate’s project plan for the year 2023 has been approved, with 25 projects and an amount of 72 billion dinars.” He stressed that the rest of the projects “will be approved during the next week.”
