The Sunni Endowment Directorate in Nineveh announced the launch of the Eid sacrifice project soon .
Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abadi, the endowment’s spokesman in Nineveh, said that the endowment began by forming committees in mosques to purchase sacrifices and then slaughter them later and distribute them to the deserving poor .
He stated that these procedures will be carried out in cooperation with veterinary medicine and the relevant departments in the governorate.
