On Tuesday evening, river police divers in Mosul recovered the bodies of two boys who drowned while swimming in a large pool of water east of Mosul.
A security source in Nineveh told Mosul Time Radio, “Two boys, ages 15 and 25, drowned when they were swimming in a large pool of water in the Al-Intisar neighborhood (east of Mosul), behind Al-Naimi’s generator.”
The source stated that “the two bodies were recovered by the intervention of river police divers within the Nineveh police formations due to the large pond, about 20 by 30 meters, and it is located between a valley in the area.”
Pointing out that “the team of divers under the command of Colonel Diver Faisal Al-Juhaishi found it difficult to find the two bodies due to the turbidity of the water.”
