Yesterday, Tuesday, the Directorate of Military Intelligence announced the seizure of a large pile of weapons and equipment belonging to ISIS terrorist gangs in Nineveh Governorate .
A statement by the directorate stated, “With accurate information from the Directorate of Military Intelligence, in cooperation with the security forces occupying the land, and after searching and inspecting the area of the Ain al-Jahsh quarries, the military intelligence detachments were able to seize a large pile containing various weapons and ammunition of different types and calibres .”
The statement explained that the amassed equipment was hidden underground in the form of large tanks in a controlled manner so that it would remain for a long period without harm or damage .
The statement added, “The weapons and equipment were delivered to the duly competent authority .”
