The Hamas movement announced the assassination of the head of its political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, in an Israeli raid that targeted his residence in the Iranian capital, Tehran.
The movement said, in a statement, that it mourns for the Palestinian people and the Arab and Islamic nation, Leader Ismail Haniyeh, head of the movement, who died as a result of a treacherous Zionist raid on his residence in Tehran, after participating in the inauguration celebration of the new Iranian president. Iranian state television also reported the killing of Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, explaining that an investigation into the assassination is underway and that the results will be announced soon
