Dozens of Umm Al-Rubaieen support contracts, who were not appointed in the year two thousand and twelve, demonstrated like their peers to demand appointment to the permanent staff.
During a protest in front of the Provincial Council, the demonstrators demanded that the local government facilitate the procedures for appointing them, especially since the appointment orders have been approved by Parliament since the year 2022 and included in the budget for the years 2023 and 2024 .
They confirmed that the number of Umm Al-Rubaieen support employees for Nineveh who have not been confirmed as permanent employees is 924 employees who have not obtained their right to appointment until now .
While they indicated that their peers from the remaining support contracts in other governorates were appointed and were directed in the Diyala and Maysan districts, and only the support contracts remained in Nineveh.
