The Iraqi Handball Federation announced the promotion of four teams from the Premier League to the Elite League .
The handball federation media said in a statement, “The federation’s board of directors approved the promotion of the four teams that won first and second place in the group league, which concluded its competitions in Sulaymaniyah and Nasiriyah last Tuesday .”
Federation member and official spokesman Kazem Kamel said, according to the statement, that “for the purpose of paving the way for the club teams that competed in the group league and giving the opportunity to the teams that obtained first and second place in the Sulaymaniyah and Nasiriyah groups, the Board of Directors took a decision to advance the four clubs (Sulaymaniyah and Al-Fatwa). Al-Mosuli) from the first group and (Al-Nasiriyah and Al-Qasim) from the second group to the ranks of the elite league for the season 2024-2025.
