Yesterday , Friday, the General Directorate of Intelligence and Security, affiliated with the Ministry of Defense, announced the overthrow of a female terrorist in Nineveh Governorate .
A statement from the ministry stated, “Under the guidance and supervision of the Minister of Defense, Thabet Al-Abbasi, and within the continuation of the implementation of specific operations by the General Directorate of Intelligence and Security, the detachments of the Special Intelligence Missions Cell affiliated with the Directorate were able to arrest a member of the ISIS terrorist gangs, against whom an arrest warrant was issued in accordance with Article (1/4). “Terrorism .”
He added, “The terrorist was working within the so-called Al-Khansaa battalion affiliated with the so-called Nineveh Province, and she was responsible for managing the affairs of women’s prisons and distributing bail for the women of the terrorist ISIS,” noting that “the arrest operation took place in Nineveh Governorate in coordination with the Umm al-Raba’in Counter-Terrorism Division.”
