The leader of the United Party and former governor of Nineveh, Atheel Al-Nujaifi, confirmed that what the Sovereignty Alliance did regarding concessions on dues in Nineveh in exchange for obtaining them in Kirkuk represents a mistake at the expense of Nineveh .
Al-Nujaifi said during a statement to the Mosul Talk program broadcast by Mosul Time Radio that the previous negotiations showed a sudden shift in the position of sovereignty regarding the position of Deputy Governor of Nineveh, which later went to the Babylon bloc .
He stated that the concessions made by sovereignty in Nineveh for the sake of gains in Kirkuk represent a mistake and must be addressed and not repeated in the future.
The former governor of Nineveh, Atheel al-Nujaifi, stressed that the main problem currently facing Nineveh is the absence of general political leadership that can manage the political blocs, in addition to the weak role and voice of Nineveh representatives in the political blocs in which they work.
