Nineveh Provincial Council member Muhammad Ahris revealed that there are 148 lagging projects in the governorate .
Aharis said that the lagging projects are distributed across various sectors, such as roads, water, sewerage, the health sector, and others .
He stated that the Provincial Council worked during the past months in cooperation with Nineveh Governorate to restart work on these projects, pointing out that red tape, administrative and legal issues, weak financing, and the bankruptcy of the implementing companies are the reason behind the delay in these projects.
