Director of Nineveh Municipalities, Raad Al-Hadidi, confirmed that work on developing and expanding the main customs port under the control of the Mosul Dam has reached advanced stages .
Al-Hadidi said that the work on constructing the site , roofing the truck entry sites, the special paths for that, and lighting has been completely completed.
He stated that the work was carried out within the required technical specifications.
In addition, the Governor of Nineveh, Abdul Qadir Al-Dakhil, announced that the customs point at the Mosul Dam will be the only point for imported and local goods to enter Nineveh .
Al-Dakhil said that the customs point at the Mosul Dam will begin imposing duties on imported and local goods starting next September .
