Nineveh Governor Abdul Qader Al-Dakhil announced the local government’s contribution to the reconstruction of part of the Prophet Yunus Mosque in the city of Mosul .
Al-Dakhil said during a visit to the project site that the local government will contribute to the reconstruction of part of the mosque, the reconstruction of which was undertaken by the Fael Al-Khairat Association, with funding from benefactors in Nineveh .
He pointed out that the mosque will soon return to being an important religious and cultural icon and landmark in Mosul and all of Iraq.
