Thursday, the Iraqi Ministry of Health dismissed 4 hospital officials within the Nineveh Health Department .
Nineveh Provincial Council member Ahmed Al-Dobardani said: “Mass dismissals have affected some hospital officials in Nineveh .”
Al-Dubardani explained that “the Ministry of Health has exempted the directors of the hospitals in Tal Afar district and Qayyarah district, Ibn Sina Teaching Hospital in Mosul, and the director of the Pharmacy Department in Nineveh Health from their duties .”
Al-Dobardani explained that “the ministry’s exemptions came after the evaluations of the oversight committees sent by the ministry to Nineveh and also come from the public interest.”
