Mosul Municipality removed hundreds of encroachments on state-owned lands during the past 24 hours.
The Director of Mosul Subdivision, Abdul Sattar Al-Habou, said that the staff of his directorate removed, within 24 hours, hundreds of encroachments on state-owned lands, including houses, structures, shops, bakeries and markets, noting that the removal decisions came after they were warned to remove them by the local government of Nineveh.
Mosul Municipality had previously warned citizens against building without proper approvals or dealing with real estate offices that defraud them and promote government lands and sell them as if they belong to citizens.
