Yesterday , Monday, Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani approved the appointment of nearly 60,000 graduates of medical and health professions .
A statement by the Medical and Health Professions Syndicate stated that “Al-Sudani agreed to appoint all graduates of medical and health professions for the year 2023, directing the Ministry of Finance to approach the Council of Ministers to approve adding the necessary financial allocations to fill the shortage in job grades .”
The union added, “We will not rest or sleep until we implement Al-Sudani’s order and complete the approvals without procrastination or delay, and we will continue to demonstrate in front of closed and difficult doors until we obtain our rights .”
The union continued , ” Today, Tuesday 9/3/2024, in Al-Shawaf Park at the gate of the Green Zone, the crowds of the White Army will head to stand in front of the doors of the Council of Ministers, appealing and demanding that the ministers implement the order of the Prime Minister and approve the appointment of all 2023 graduates from medical and health professions .
According to a document issued by the Prime Minister’s Office and addressed to the Ministry of Finance , Al – Sudani directed the ministry to approach the Council of Ministers to obtain approval to add the necessary financial allocations to fill the shortage in job grades for those with medical and health professions.
