Nineveh Council member Ahmed Al-Abd Rabbah revealed that meetings were held between political forces in the capital, Baghdad, to discuss solutions to end the political crisis in Nineveh, which has been ongoing for more than two months, against the backdrop of the session to elect heads of administrative units.
Al-Abd Rabbo said that the meetings achieved positive steps and progress towards ending the current problem, expecting that the current crisis will end and the council will return to convene during the coming days or the following week.
