MP Mansour Al-Marid made the resumption of Nineveh Provincial Council sessions conditional on the acceptance of the Unified Nineveh Bloc of the Council Speaker’s invitation to sit at the dialogue table .
Al-Marid said during a statement to the Mosul Talk program broadcast by Mosul Time Radio that whenever the Unified Nineveh Bloc responds to the invitation issued by the head of the council, Ahmed Al-Hasoud, to sit at the dialogue table, then it is certain that the council will convene immediately and the dispute in the council over the election of heads of administrative units will end.
