Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani confirmed his intention to make a ministerial reshuffle and submit it to the House of Representatives in the coming days.

Al-Sudani explained during a press conference that the government is waiting for the resolution of the issue of the presidency of the Iraqi parliament in order to submit to the House of Representatives to approve the ministerial amendment based on an evaluation of the performance of the ministers during the past period since they assumed their positions.

Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani expressed his dissatisfaction with the distortion of the work of his government in combating financial and administrative corruption by some parties.

Al-Sudani accused unnamed parties of trying to distort what the government is doing in the field of combating corruption through media disruption, stressing that the government is emphasizing accountability for attempts at blackmail and exploitation of job positions.
