Representative of Nineveh Governorate, Mansour Al-Marid, confirmed that there are political motives behind the call of some representatives to cancel the special vote for the security services in the elections.
Al-Marid said that the call by some MPs to cancel special voting is unacceptable because it will further limit the low participation rates in the elections, indicating that some parties have political goals that they are trying to achieve through the call to cancel special voting.
