Lebanese media announced yesterday , Friday, the killing of 8 people and the wounding of 59 , including a Hezbollah leader, in the initial toll of the aggressive raid on the Al-Qaim area in the southern suburbs of Beirut .
The Ministry of Health stated that “the Zionist aggression led to the death of 8 martyrs and 59 wounded, according to the initial toll, in the Al-Qaim area in the southern suburb of Beirut .”
Media outlets said: “Among the martyrs was a leader in the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, Hezbollah .”
Lebanese media reported that the Zionist occupation carried out an air strike on the Al-Jamous area in the southern suburb of Beirut .
The media reported: “An explosion occurred in the Jamous area in the southern suburbs of Beirut, killing a number of civilians.”
Shortly after the Israeli raids, the Lebanese Islamic Resistance, Hezbollah, announced Targeting Zionist sites with hundreds of missiles .
The resistance stated in a statement that “our mujahideen bombed the main air defense missile base of the Northern Region Command in the (Beria) barracks with volleys of (Katyusha) rockets,” noting that “the bombing came in support of Gaza and in response to the Zionist enemy’s attacks on the steadfast southern villages and safe homes .”
She added that “the outbreak of fires and conflagrations in the occupied Syrian Golan was the result of targeting it with a missile salvo launched from Lebanon, and we bombed the air and missile defense headquarters in the (Kila) barracks with volleys of Katyusha rockets,” indicating that “the headquarters of the 188th Armored Brigade of the 36th Division in the (Al-Alika) barracks was bombed with volleys of Katyusha rockets .”
While the Zionist media announced that “Hezbollah is beginning a third wave of bombing in the direction of (Meron) .”
